A woman in a northwest Charlotte, North Carolina neighborhood was severely mauled by a pack of seven pit bull-type dogs in her front yard. The incident, which occurred on Claiborne Woods Road, also resulted in injuries to three other individuals, with

A Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s deputy, who was in the area for an eviction, shot and killed one of the dogs after a Taser failed to stop the assault. The other six dogs were captured alive.
