What's Happening?
The GNU Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, in collaboration with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), has concluded a national workshop aimed at endorsing the Agricultural Statistics Master Plan (ASMP) in Tripoli, Libya. The workshop focused
on training national staff and developing the agricultural statistics system according to international standards. The initiative is part of efforts to build a reliable agricultural database to support decision-making and planning of development initiatives. The training program included modern electronic data collection and analysis technologies, involving 32 participants from various regions of Libya. The closing ceremony was attended by key figures from the Ministry and FAO, who distributed certificates to the trainees.
