Ionic Rare Earths and US Strategic Metals have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a rare earth recycling and processing facility in Missouri. This facility will utilize Ionic's patented
magnet recycling technology to produce high-purity rare earth oxides, reducing reliance on Chinese exports. The partnership is part of the U.S.–Australia Critical Minerals Framework, aiming to bolster domestic supply chains amid global geopolitical tensions.
