The 'Run Because You Can' 5K event, organized by Runnin’ for Rhett, took place in Land Park, Sacramento. This annual event saw the participation of 3,000 youth athletes from the Sacramento area. The race is a celebration of the completion of a six-week
after-school Youth Fitness Program. The program aims to promote physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among young people. Participants trained for the event as part of their fitness curriculum, culminating in this community race.
