Alegria E. Bacerdo, a resident of Chicago, passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 73. She was the beloved wife of Jansel and a loving mother to Maxine, who is married to Alex Angeles. Alegria was also
a proud grandmother of two and cherished sister to Eligio, Teodore, and Jessica. She was the daughter of the late Julia and Ruperto. Her passing is mourned by many friends and family members. A visitation is scheduled for December 19th from 3-8pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home in Chicago, followed by a funeral mass on December 20th at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Maryhill Cemetery.
