What's Happening?
Teen participants from the Unistream nonprofit organization presented their innovative ventures to global business leaders during an international investment panel. This event, part of Unistream's EdVenture program, simulates real-world startup fundraising
and investor pitching. Projects included a smart beaded bracelet for medication reminders and a social app to boost teenagers' confidence. The panel was held online, featuring participants from various Israeli communities, including Jewish and Arab groups. Unistream, led by founder Rony Zarom and CEO Ifat Bechor, aims to train teenagers in business, technological, and social entrepreneurship.
Why It's Important?
The event highlights the potential of young entrepreneurs to address social and technological challenges. By providing a platform for teenagers to present their ideas to international investors, Unistream fosters innovation and entrepreneurship among youth. This initiative not only empowers young individuals but also contributes to the development of solutions that can improve health, confidence, and daily life for teenagers. The program's success could inspire similar initiatives globally, promoting youth entrepreneurship as a means to drive social change and economic growth.
