InterContinental has launched its first hotel in Sapporo, marking the brand's debut in Hokkaido, Japan. The new property, InterContinental Sapporo, is located on the 9th to 14th floors of the Lilac Square complex and offers 149 guestrooms, including 13 suites. Situated in the Nakajima Park area, near the Susukino entertainment district, the hotel features views of the city, park, and Toyohira River. The design incorporates elements inspired by the natural landscapes of Hokkaido, focusing on residential-style luxury. Amenities include a 20-meter indoor heated pool and a 24-hour fitness center. The Club InterContinental lounge provides additional services such as private check-in and evening refreshments. Dining options include Sawaka, offering an omakase-style experience, AuBlanc for all-day dining, and Norva Lounge & Bar for afternoon teas and cocktails.
