What's Happening?
The North West Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in collaboration with various partners, hosted a certification ceremony for 197 emerging farmers in South Africa. The farmers completed intensive training programs in areas such as cattle, goats, grain, poultry, and horticulture. The initiative aims to equip farmers with the skills and knowledge needed to establish sustainable agricultural enterprises, addressing challenges through collaboration with public and private sectors.
