Israeli company BlackCore is under suspicion for interfering in elections in New York City and Scotland, as well as in France, Angola, and Togo. This information was revealed by Marc-Antoine Brillant, head of France's disinformation detection service,
Viginum. A joint investigation by French daily Libération and Haaretz uncovered BlackCore's influence operations, which utilized digital systems routed through servers in several European countries. The firm is accused of running a disinformation campaign targeting left-wing candidates in France's 2026 municipal elections. French authorities have launched two investigations into BlackCore, one by Paris prosecutors and another by the domestic intelligence agency, to determine who commissioned these campaigns. BlackCore's operations reportedly shared web infrastructure with other Israeli companies, Galacticos and SNI.
