NJ Transit is actively seeking information from companies that provide real-time transit communications systems to develop a unified customer communications platform. This initiative aims to deliver more accurate, efficient, timely, and consistent real-time information and system status
across all its channels, including mobile apps, websites, email and text alerts, and digital station signage. The agency issued a Request for Information (RFI) on June 10, with a submission deadline of September 17, 2026.
