At the DIMDEX 2026 defence exhibition in Doha, Qatar, Barzan Holdings announced several agreements, including a significant procurement contract with Indonesia valued at QAR8 billion (USD2.2 billion). The agreements involve multiple components for different
systems, including a tripartite agreement with South Korea's Poongsan Corporation and Indonesian company Republikorp to establish an ammunition manufacturing plant in Indonesia. Additionally, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. signed a memorandum of understanding with Barzan Holdings to collaborate on developing advanced battle management software capabilities.
