The 8th Ward Fire Department, with assistance from the Ponchatoula Volunteer Fire Department, responded to the incident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. In response to the tragedy, Kayla Dragg has set up a GoFundMe page on behalf of her in-laws to help the family recover from the loss of their home and belongings.
