What's Happening?
Siskiyou County has announced three vacancies on its Local Child Care Planning Council. The positions available include a public agency representative, a consumer, and a discretionary appointee, with terms ending in February 2028. The council, established
in 1998, was created in response to the Welfare Reform Bill and the California Education Code. It comprises consumers, child care providers, public agency representatives, and community members. Interested individuals are encouraged to submit a letter of interest to the Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors by February 18, 2026.
