Monica E. (Bossart) Smith, a lifelong resident of Stark County, Ohio, passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 51 following an extended illness. A graduate of Central Catholic High School and The Ohio State University, Smith earned a degree in Human
Development & Family Science and worked at Stark County Child & Family Services. She was actively involved in her community, volunteering at local schools and being a member of North Canton St. Paul Catholic Church. Smith was also a passionate sports fan, particularly of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State University football. She is survived by her husband, Michael Smith, and their three sons.
