What's Happening?
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has announced the establishment of the Alliance of National Councils for Homeland Operational Resilience – Critical Infrastructure (ANCHOR-CI). This new framework aims to improve collaboration
between the U.S. government and private companies in protecting critical infrastructure from cyber threats and natural disasters. ANCHOR-CI replaces the previous Critical Infrastructure Partnership Advisory Council (CIPAC), which was terminated in March 2025. The new framework introduces four types of councils to address cross-sector threats and improve resilience.
