What's Happening?
Rashtrapati Nilayam, the winter residence of the President of India, is hosting the second edition of Udyan Utsav 2026 from January 3 to January 11, 2026. The festival aims to promote citizen engagement
and environmental awareness. The inauguration was led by two progressive women farmers, CH. Srujana and Kosi Reddy Lavanya Ramana Reddy, highlighting the increasing role of women in Indian agriculture. The event is organized by Rashtrapati Nilayam and supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, along with MANAGE. The festival features 50 thematic stalls with nearly 120 exhibitors, showcasing agricultural innovation, entrepreneurship, and value addition. Attractions include the Green Knowledge Hub, Millet Mandi, Startup Hub, Eco Bazaar, Plant and Produce Zone, and Farm-to-Enterprise Zone. The festival is open to the public free of charge from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for nine days.
