Goodwill of the Finger Lakes has announced the opening of a new store in Irondequoit, New York, set to launch in 2026. The store will be located at Skyview on the Ridge, occupying 25,000 square feet next
to the Irondequoit Community Center. This development was announced by Jennifer Lake, President and CEO of Goodwill of the Finger Lakes, during a press conference on November 5, 2025. The store will offer gently used apparel, home décor, housewares, furniture, and new seasonal goods, and is expected to create 45 jobs. Proceeds from the store will support various community services, including Goodwill Vision Services, 211/LIFE LINE, the Goodwill Learning Academy, and the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The project is supported by funding from the New York State Community Fund, with State Sen. Samra Brouk securing $1 million and Assemblywoman Sarah Clark securing an additional $300,000.
