What's Happening?
The 80th session of American Legion Boys Nation commenced in Washington, D.C., bringing together 100 high school seniors from across the United States. These young men, representing 49 states and the District of Columbia, are participating in a week-long
program that simulates the U.S. Senate. Divided into two parties, the Federalists and the Nationalists, they engage in political discourse and legislative activities. The event coincides with America's 250th anniversary, adding a layer of historical significance to the proceedings.
