Carol June Germuga, aged 88, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025. She was a beloved member of her community, known for her role as a Crossing Guard at Indian Landing Elementary School, where she
worked for the Brighton Police Department. Carol was a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy High School and had a passion for camping and baking, particularly her family's bread pudding recipe. She enjoyed attending the Royal Winter Fair and Santa Claus Parade in Toronto with her family. Carol is survived by her son, Francis, daughter-in-law, Jane Henning, grandchildren, and great-grandson, among other family members. Her family expressed gratitude to the staff at St. John's Home for their care. A Celebration of Life is planned for the spring, with details to be announced later.
