Eva Schloss, a Holocaust survivor and the step-sister of Anne Frank, has passed away at the age of 96. Schloss was a co-founder and honorary president of the Anne Frank Trust UK, an organization dedicated
to Holocaust education and preserving the memory of Anne Frank. Born in Austria, Schloss and her family fled to the Netherlands during World War II but were eventually captured and sent to Auschwitz. She survived the concentration camp, while her father and brother did not. After the war, her mother married Otto Frank, Anne Frank's father. Schloss dedicated her life to educating others about the Holocaust, often speaking to young people to promote understanding and tolerance. Her efforts were recognized by King Charles, who led tributes to her legacy.
