Jamie Smart, a 10-year-old award-winning photographer from Llandrindod Wells, Powys, has been named the newest patron of Cuan Wildlife Rescue, a charity based in Much Wenlock, Shropshire. Known as the 'Eagle Eyed Girl,' Jamie began her journey in wildlife photography at the age of six-and-a-half. Her work has earned her numerous accolades, including the 2025 Australian Geographic Photographer of the Year (18 and under) and the 2025 Wildlife Photographer of the Year (10 and under). As a patron, Jamie will help raise awareness about the importance of conserving wildlife and wild spaces.
