What's Happening?
SaddleBrooke Community Outreach (SBCO) is actively supporting students from pre-school through high school by providing new clothing and school supplies twice a year. The initiative, known as Kids’ Closet and Teen Closet, serves children along a 100+ mile corridor from Catalina to Miami and San Carlos. Kids’ Closet caters to younger students, while Teen Closet assists high school students. The program aims to enhance students' self-esteem and alleviate financial pressure on families. Teen Closet events occur in July and January, allowing students to shop for clothing and personal items with a budget of $275, guided by volunteers. Students must meet certain criteria, including regular school attendance, maintaining a passing GPA, and completing community service hours to participate. The next Teen Closet event is scheduled for January 2026.
