What's Happening?
Cubios has introduced a modern twist on the classic Rubik's Cube with the launch of the Rubik's WOWCube, available for preorder. Unlike the traditional cube, which features six faces with 3x3 grids, the WOWCube has six faces with 2x2 grids, each equipped with 240x240 IPS displays. The cube is composed of eight 'cubicle modules,' each containing three screens and a dedicated system on a chip (SoC). The modules are connected via patented magnetic connectors, ensuring seamless data flow and electrical contact regardless of rotation. The WOWCube allows users to play various games, such as Block Buster and Space Invaders, by twisting and turning the screens. It includes a gyroscope, 6-axis accelerometer, and eight speakers, with a battery life of up to seven hours. Users can download games and apps through the WOWCube Connect app, available on iOS and Android, and the cube runs on its own operating system, CubiOS.
