What's Happening?
The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is currently accepting applications for its Workforce Diploma Pilot Program. This initiative aims to assist adult learners in Texas who have not completed high school
by providing them with opportunities to earn a high school diploma, industry-recognized credentials, and develop employability skills. The program connects these adults with education providers offering a mix of academic instruction, career training, and supportive coaching. Eligible applicants must be authorized to grant a high school diploma in Texas or partner with an accredited entity that can do so. Additionally, they must have at least two years of experience in dropout reengagement services for adult students, including academic assessments and employability skills training. Interested organizations must submit their applications by May 5, 2026.
