The Dominican Navy has commissioned its second 85-foot Near Coastal Patrol Vessel (NCPV), named ARCTURUS CG-114, built by Metal Shark in Louisiana. This vessel is part of a $54 million U.S. Navy Foreign Military Sales contract aimed at producing up to thirteen Defiant-class patrol crafts for U.S. partner nations.
