Boston College has announced that it will name its integrated science building, located at 245 Beacon Street, as John T. Hayden Hall. This decision comes in recognition of a generous donation exceeding $55 million from the estate of John T. Hayden, a San
Francisco Bay Area attorney and real estate investor who passed away in 2024. Hayden, a Boston College alumnus, was known for his passion for real estate, having built a substantial portfolio across nine states. In addition to the building naming, Boston College will establish the John T. Hayden Theatre Department Fund in his memory. Hayden was deeply involved in the arts during his time at the college, participating in theatrical productions and remaining an avid supporter of the Eagles football team.
