Montgomery County police are actively investigating a burglary that occurred at a Germantown home. On September 20, at approximately 9:40 p.m., officers responded to a report of theft from a residence near the 12900 block of Climbing Ivy Drive. According
to detectives, the suspect unlawfully entered the home, stole property, and subsequently fled the scene after encountering a resident. Fortunately, no one was harmed during the incident. To aid in their investigation, detectives released a video of the suspect, captured by a Ring doorbell camera, on YouTube on Tuesday. The surveillance footage shows the individual wearing a light-colored hoodie and a backpack. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity or the crime itself to come forward and assist in solving the case.
