What's Happening?
Tim Lobb, a Cornwall resident, discovered his American GI father, Marshall Donohew, after learning at age 17 that he was adopted. Lobb's journey to find his father began after finding a letter from Donohew, expressing
a desire for Lobb to come to America. This led to a reunion in West Virginia in 1989, where Lobb and his father formed a close bond until Donohew's death. Lobb also learned about Melvin Biddle, a Medal of Honor recipient, who saved his father's life during World War II. Lobb later met Biddle, sharing stories and memorabilia.
