The Greater Fort Myers Dog Club held a dog show on May 16, 2026, in North Fort Myers, Florida, attracting a total of 747 entries. The event was judged by Ms. Sylvia T. Barkey, with Don Meyer serving as the
show photographer. The Best in Show title was awarded to GCHG Tamarack Valley View River Of Dreams, a Gordon Setter handled by Stacy Threlfall and owned by Dr. E Shanahan and S Threlfall. The Reserve Best in Show went to GCHS Strawberry N Cinnibon’s Big Deal, a Boxer handled by Hernan Pacheco. The show featured various breeds across different categories, including Sporting, Hound, Working, Terrier, Toy, Non-Sporting, and Herding groups, judged by a panel of experts.
