Suzanne 'Sue' Miner Moore, a beloved educator and community member, passed away at the age of 89 on November 1, 2025. Born in Rochester, New York, Sue was a lifelong resident of Sodus, where she dedicated
over thirty years to teaching English at Sodus Central High School. She was known for her love of the English language and her commitment to her students. After retiring, she continued to volunteer at Marion Elementary School. Sue was also an active member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Sodus, serving as a deacon and participating in the church choir. She is survived by her two sons, Steven and Jeremy, and five grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for December 13 at the First United Presbyterian Church of Sodus.
