What's Happening?
NASA is recruiting volunteers for a one-year simulated deep-space mission as part of its Moon and Mars Exploration Analog (MMEA) program. The mission, set to begin in August 2027, will take place at the Johnson Space Center in Texas and involve four participants
living in specially designed environments. These environments will simulate the conditions of a spacecraft journey and a planetary surface habitat. The mission aims to gather data to improve conditions and protocols for future crewed missions to deep space, including the Moon and Mars.

This initiative is crucial for NASA's long-term goals of returning humans to the Moon and eventually sending crewed missions to Mars.
