Hyatt has announced plans to introduce the Hyatt Regency brand to Lusaka, Zambia, through a management agreement with ASB Hotel Properties and Albwardy Investments. The existing Pamodzi Hotel will undergo
extensive renovations while remaining operational, with a reopening scheduled for 2026 under the Hyatt Regency brand. The hotel will feature 170 guestrooms and suites, designed to offer a premium stay with contemporary décor. It will also provide meeting and event spaces suitable for both large conferences and intimate gatherings. The hotel's strategic location near Lusaka's business district and tourist attractions aims to attract both business and leisure travelers.
