Governor Dan McKee of Rhode Island is set to sign an executive order establishing the 37th Governor's Bay Day. This event, scheduled for July 26, will offer free parking at all state beaches and allow public fishing in saltwaters without a license from
July 24 to July 26. Additionally, the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will waive round-trip fares for the South County Express Beach Bus on the same day.
