Cameron Thomas, a guard for the Stetson Hatters, has been recognized as the ASUN Newcomer of the Year and an All-ASUN First Team honoree for her performance in the 2024-25 season. Thomas led the Hatters with
an average of 17.1 points per game, accumulating a total of 530 points, a milestone not reached by any Hatter since the 2017-18 season. She played in every game, starting 29 times, and demonstrated impressive shooting skills with a 49.4% field goal percentage and 39.7% from three-point range. Her season highlights include scoring 30 points against South Alabama and achieving a double-double at North Florida. Prior to joining Stetson, Thomas played at Southwestern Michigan College, where she averaged 21 points per game and earned multiple accolades, including MCCAA Western Conference Player of the Week.
