A tragic motorcycle accident occurred near St Rock High School in Tolecotto, Velim, resulting in the death of 25-year-old Saiesh Kolvenkar. Kolvenkar was riding from Betul towards Assolna when he fell
off his bike in a self-accident. He was transported to South Goa District Hospital by a 108 ambulance, where he succumbed to his injuries. The hospital's casualty ward informed Cuncolim police of Kolvenkar's death, prompting an investigation. Police officers visited the hospital and arranged for an autopsy, which revealed that the cause of death was craniocerebral damage due to blunt force impact.
