What's Happening?
Textron Systems has teamed up with AM General and Carnegie Robotics to develop an autonomous platform for the U.S. Army's Medium Modular Equipment Transport (M-MET) program. This initiative aims to address
logistics gaps by autonomously delivering multi-class supplies and operational energy between Brigade Support Areas and dispersed forward units. The platform features a modular, multi-mission design capable of transporting critical supplies, generating operational energy, and integrating various mission payloads. Built on the HUMVEE platform, the vehicle combines advanced suspension and a hybrid-electric powerpack, offering over 30 kW of exportable power. Textron Systems will contribute its drive-by-wire system, diagnostics, and weapons payload expertise, leveraging its experience in unmanned platforms across air, land, and sea domains.
