ADM has inaugurated its Central Milling Laboratory at the ADM Specialty Manufacturing Facility in Decatur, Illinois. This new facility is equipped with advanced testing technologies and analytical tools
designed to assess wheat quality. The lab processes wheat by milling, analyzing, and baking it to provide insights into flour performance in real-world applications. Each day, the lab bakes approximately 30 loaves of bread, allowing ADM to evaluate the performance and ensure the procurement of high-quality wheat for its customers. The facility is strategically located near ADM’s North American Headquarters, enhancing collaboration opportunities with the company's research and development teams. Currently, the lab supports 31 ADM facilities across North America.
