What's Happening?
UNICEF is seeking a consultant to support Rwanda's efforts in strengthening Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) and infection prevention and control (IPC) systems in response to the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo
(DRC). The consultant will provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Health and other partners to enhance preparedness and response capacities for EVD. This initiative is part of a broader government-led approach to prevent and manage potential outbreaks, focusing on healthcare facilities, community-based preparedness, and continuity of essential services.
