What's Happening?
Culver's is set to host its annual Scoops of Thanks Day on May 7, 2026, offering guests a scoop of Fresh Frozen Custard for a $1 donation. This initiative is part of Culver's Thank You Farmers Project, which supports agricultural education and local FFA
chapters. Since its inception in 2016, the event has raised over $1 million for agriculture education, with 171,319 scoops served in 2025 alone. The funds raised help provide hands-on learning experiences for future agricultural leaders. This year, guests can choose from Vanilla, Chocolate, or the special Blue Barn Brownie flavor, which features Vanilla Custard swirled with fudge and caramel, topped with brownie pieces.
Why It's Important?
The Scoops of Thanks Day is significant as it directly supports agricultural education, which is crucial for sustaining the agricultural industry. By funding local FFA chapters, Culver's helps cultivate the next generation of agricultural professionals, ensuring the continuation of farming practices and innovation. This initiative also highlights the importance of community involvement in supporting agriculture, which is vital for food security and the economy. The event not only raises funds but also raises awareness about the role of agriculture in daily life and the economy.
What's Next?
Culver's will continue to engage with communities through its Thank You Farmers Project, aiming to expand its impact on agricultural education. As the event grows, it may inspire other businesses to adopt similar initiatives, further supporting the agricultural sector. The success of this year's event could lead to increased participation and fundraising in future years, enhancing the resources available for agricultural education.
