What's Happening?
The Blinn College Foundation is actively seeking community support to fully fund the Richard W.B. 'Rick' Davis Paralegal Scholarship. This scholarship honors Rick Davis, who was a distinguished attorney, jurist, educator, military officer, and community leader.
Davis also served as a dedicated instructor for many years and later chaired the Blinn Paralegal Program’s advisory board. His career included roles as Judge of Brazos County Court at Law No. 2 and Judge of the 272nd District Court of Texas before he founded Rick Davis & Associates. He was a strong advocate for legal education and committed to mentoring students and young attorneys. The scholarship is one of three endowed paralegal scholarships the Foundation is working to fully fund, aiming to support students pursuing education through Blinn’s Paralegal and Legal Studies Program. Additional contributions are necessary for the scholarship to reach the required funding level to begin generating awards for students.
