What's Happening?
The Amy H. Carberry Fine Arts Gallery at Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) is set to host a rare exhibition featuring the artwork of its fine arts faculty. This event is part of the college's 60th-anniversary celebration during the 2026-2027
academic year. The exhibition, titled 'RADIANT: STCC Fine Arts Faculty Exhibition,' will showcase works from 11 faculty members who are all actively working and exhibiting artists. These faculty members teach various disciplines including art history, painting, drawing, darkroom photography, 2D and 3D design, and printmaking. The exhibition will be on view from September 14 to October 16, 2026, with a public reception scheduled for Saturday, September 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The gallery and all associated events are free and open to the public. This initiative highlights the commitment of STCC's fine arts program to fostering creativity and supporting artists in Springfield.
