What's Happening?
Aimbridge Hospitality, a leading third-party hotel management company, has assumed management of the Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana and Wyndham Alltra Samaná, two all-inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic. This move is part of Aimbridge's newly launched All-Inclusive division, introduced in August. The Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana, owned by Advanced Asset Management, spans 47 acres of beachfront and offers 620 rooms, while Wyndham Alltra Samaná, owned by Casa Marina Samaná, features 404 rooms amid 37 acres of coastal beauty. Both properties underwent extensive renovations in 2024 to update guest offerings with contemporary accommodations, enhanced culinary options, and expanded recreational amenities.
Why It's Important?
The management takeover by Aimbridge Hospitality highlights the growing appeal of the all-inclusive model in the hospitality industry. This segment is expanding rapidly, driven by rising demand for curated experiences and elevated service. Aimbridge's expertise in managing high-performing assets and its strategic focus on all-inclusive resorts positions it to capitalize on this trend. The partnership with Wyndham reflects a shared commitment to hospitality excellence and long-term value creation, potentially attracting more investors and guests to the region, boosting local tourism and economy.
