What's Happening?
MTA Mobile Travel Agents advisors recently participated in a six-day educational journey on the Rocky Mountaineer's 'Rockies to the Red Rocks' route, which will be rebranded as 'Canyon Spirit' in 2026.
The trip, designed to familiarize advisors with the luxury rail experience, included travel from Moab to Denver with stops at Arches National Park and Glenwood Springs. Advisors experienced the SilverLeaf Service, featuring regionally inspired meals and storytelling from onboard hosts. This experience aims to equip advisors with firsthand knowledge to better sell the luxury rail travel experience to clients.
Why It's Important?
The participation of MTA advisors in this journey is crucial for promoting luxury rail travel in the American Southwest. As the route expands to include Salt Lake City, advisors' firsthand experience will enable them to craft personalized itineraries that highlight the unique landscapes and cultural attractions of the region. This initiative supports the growth of luxury rail tourism and enhances the advisors' ability to market these experiences effectively, potentially increasing tourism and economic activity in the areas served by the Rocky Mountaineer.
