What's Happening?
CoxHealth has announced the opening of a new pediatric hospital on its Medical Center South campus in Springfield, Missouri. This facility, in collaboration with St. Louis Children's Hospital, will be the only independently licensed, full-service pediatric hospital in southwest
Missouri. It will feature an advanced neonatal intensive care unit, a pediatric intensive care unit, and inpatient pediatric care. The hospital aims to provide exceptional care by bringing together leading physicians from Washington University Medicine and specially trained caregivers. The collaboration is designed to enhance pediatric care in the region, offering families access to cutting-edge treatments and pediatric expertise close to home.
