CoxHealth has announced the opening of a new pediatric hospital on its Medical Center South campus in Springfield, Missouri. This facility, in collaboration with St. Louis Children's Hospital, will be the only independently licensed, full-service pediatric hospital in southwest
Missouri. It will feature an advanced neonatal intensive care unit, a pediatric intensive care unit, and inpatient pediatric care. The hospital aims to provide exceptional care by bringing together leading physicians from Washington University Medicine and specially trained caregivers.
