What's Happening?
The Gemini North telescope in Hawaii has captured images of Comet C/2025 K1 (ATLAS) crumbling apart. Discovered in May 2025, this comet originated in the Oort Cloud and survived its closest approach to the Sun in October 2025. The intense heat and gravity
