The Canadian Coast Guard has announced the commencement of dismantling operations for the wreck of the MSC Baltic III off the coast of Newfoundland. The salvage efforts, led by Resolve Marine, involve removing the accommodation block and preparing to
split the vessel into two sections for further dismantling and recycling. The operation aims to complete significant work before the onset of winter, with the forward section expected to be brought ashore by the end of July.
