Sanmar Shipyards has successfully delivered the RAmparts 2400SX-MKII design tug UT PATZCUARO to Ultratug, marking the first tugboat built by Sanmar for the Americas operator. The delivery ceremony took place at Sanmar's Altinova Shipyard, attended by key figures from both Sanmar and Ultratug. The tugboat, designed by Robert Allan Ltd., features advanced technology and environmentally responsible design, including IMO Tier III compliant engines and a Caterpillar SCR exhaust system. The vessel boasts a bollard pull of 75 tons and a speed of 12.5 knots, equipped with fire-fighting capabilities and accommodations for eight crew members.
