Lockheed Martin has supported a live-fire test of a developmental medium-range ground-based air defense prototype in Australia. The test, known as Taipan Strike 26, was conducted at the Woomera Test Range and involved the integration of an Australian
Defence Force CEA radar with virtualized Aegis Weapon System capabilities. The demonstration showcased the ability to connect Aegis with a mobile ground-based launcher for engaging targets. This initiative is part of efforts to enhance air defense capabilities and interoperability between the U.S. and Australian defense forces.
