What's Happening?
The Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation, in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio and the Central Midwest Carpenters Union, organized a community event to build playhouses for local families in need. The initiative, known as the Playhouse Project,
took place at Nationwide Arena, where volunteers from various Ohio cities came together to construct and decorate playhouses. The project aims to provide children with a safe and imaginative space to play, aligning with the mission of the Blue Jackets Foundation to support local communities. By the end of the event, ten families received completed playhouses, marking a successful collaboration between the organizations involved.
