What's Happening?
The Pretzel City Brewfest is set to return to downtown Freeport on September 27, offering attendees a diverse selection of craft beers and engaging activities. The event will take place from 1-5 p.m. on Chicago Avenue, featuring over 100 craft beers from local and national breweries. VIP guests will have the opportunity to enter an hour early at noon. General admission tickets are priced at $40, providing 20 tasting tickets, a souvenir glass, and entry to the event. VIP tickets, available only before the event, cost $75 and include 30 tasting tickets, early entry, access to special release beers, a Brewfest T-shirt, a VIP cooler, a swag bag, and access to a VIP lounge with complimentary food and additional seating. Designated drivers can attend for $10. The Brewfest, recognized as the 'Best Event in Illinois' at the Illinois Excellence in Tourism Awards in 2022, is hosted by the Greater Freeport Partnership.
